Patrollin' and Posin'

Hart and I are still keeping a watch here.

Hart checks out what is going on "out there" hiding behind a column.

Pretty smart huh?

No one down below can see us that way.

Blondie came out to find out what we were up to.

I told her I was just enjoying the fresh air, and listening to the birds sing.

As soon as she went back inside, I took my post and stuck my head out over the edge to check on the perimeter.

Then I snuck over to the front of the balcony and checked out below there.

Everything was cool...no Iraqi cats, no dogs, not nothing except a few cars parked in the sunshine.

Speaking of sunshine...I always like to practice my shadow making when it is a bright sunny day.

See how long I look, and how my ears make neat little triangles?

Every move makes a new kind of shadow shape.

Don't I have a great profile?
I usually don't like to talk about my artistic side...but not to brag....I do know how to pose for a picture.
The trick is to hold the pose long enough for Blondie or Bernie to notice and grab the camera.
But it is worth the effort when the results are so very good.

Tiggie I am going to reprehend you for being a tad bit conceited. You don't see me going around boasting about all that I can do. But then again I really don't have to, as I am Siamese if you please and I am Siamese if you don't please. Your Uncle Rufus

Good job on the patrolling, Tiggs. I like the way you make shadows. I haven't seen mine in a very long time, which is weird since I live in a very sunny place.

Oh yes, you are very photogenic. Your orange stripes make a wonderful contrast to the black and white shadow stripes too. And your profile is quite dignified. Well done!

Oh, by the way, I found another cat out there in blog land who licks toilet paper....I'm thinking about trying it too. I like to shred kleenex and papertowels if my human waves them around in front of me...but I've never tried that stuff on the roller. I don't like being in the bathroom...too many dangerous places where water makes loud noises. Nope, I don't like water at all!

Fin is the other TP licking cat. She's a Norwegian Forest Cat like me...I just met her. You can find her on my sidebar in the next day or two.

Please give my meiow to Hart, too. When is he going to Tuxedo Tuesday again?

Glad to see you are out for a bit of perimeter patrols. The new digs must not be too bad.

You do look very handsome in those last shots too. I am confortable in my mancatliness to be able to say that.

Tiggie, I don't see YOU bouncing around any crisp golden leaves these days. Perhaps you should get out and shed a few, um, er, layers there. (One should never say pounds in cat world. I've learned this from experience with two cats. They have quite a complex about being called fat).

So I'm now waiting for pictures of you two in leaves. REAL LEAVES. None of this toilet paper stuff. That's just cheating.

Tiggie, I wrote a post featuring my cat, Kitty. I thought you'd appreciate what she was up to.

Oh Tiggie, there is no lack of confidence in your world .. .just kind of wondering if the world looks just a wee bit differnt to you in the last few minutes. I hear you have yourself a new president.
Stand guard Tiggie. . .I hope he is partial to orange cats.

Tiggie, your shadow pictures are very arty. You did a supremly good job posing! Of course a plush tail helps with every photo...
