I have to admit it: While Hart and I were really used to the apartment that Blondie and Bernie moved us into last September, it was a bit small. Hart and I were starting to get on each others nerves.
Then just like that, some guys showed up with boxes and started packing the place up.
Hart kept trying to lay low, but those guys kept moving into his space.
Pretty soon there were boxes everywhere. They weren't the fun kind like the one we got for Christmas either. These boxes got ripping sounding tape slap on them so they would close and we couldn't climb and smell inside them for fun at all.
Whenever I would jump down for moment, Hart would hop up and hunker down.
It is really not a big enough tower for the two of us like our old tower.
(Hart: Well, there would be enough room if some orange person wasn't so big.)
When the packing guys grabbed the tower Hart hung on the the bottom of it with all his might, and let out a huge meow. I joined in with him; we meowed with all our heart, which of course was just broken at this point.
All the furniture was gone AND our cat tower.
Where would we perch now?
OH the horror!
Next thing we knew, out came those dratted carrying things. We were plopped into the back seat of the car, and away we went, Hart crying miserably, and me just being a stoic as a brave faithful orange cat should be.
He let us out in a room with a big window door.
VERY INTERESTING!
We like it!
Oh yeah..this is something to look at.
Hart and I decided right away we were going to be very happy here watching birds and squirrels on the soft comfy bed.

Wow...that looks like a great place! You can curl up for a comfy nap on that big soft bed...raise your head a bit if you want to watch the wildlife (or watch for Iraqi cats) on the other side of that glass door...sleep some more...and perhaps soon, if you yowl loud enough, you'll get to go Out There! Uh, I'd advise waiting until there's no more snow and cold around.
I wonder if I'll ever get out of this little apartment? I sure miss my big house.
What an ordeal!!!! I think you guys will grow to like this place, seems to have lots of potential!!
Maybe you could poop in a shoe for the sake of protest, just once.

Hi Tiggie! Thanks for your nice visit today. I'll be sure NOT to let Fioré know what you had to say. She needs no help in the crazy department since she's a whacked calico as it is. You are a very pretty, and I'm sure sedate, kitty. I like your new place!
Wow! That looks like a great spot to watch everything! We have a big window like that, but we are kind of in the ground....Meowm says it is a basement apartment, so we don't see as much as you will get to! And we don't have a great big bed like that to lay on in the window either. Enjoy yourselves!
Very cool that the story turned out that way. We look forward to hearing more about your exploration at the new place!
That looks like a great new house! Maybe you can have your parents talk to mine...I'm stuck in a little apartment too
Wow, guess it was worth all the trauma. I have never moved, so I don't know exactly how you feel. Your new house looks nice, though.

Sounds pretty cool, except for the scary parts. We've missed you. We look forward to hearing about your adventures in your new house.

Big windows for watching outside are the best. Enjoy your new home.
Dear Hart and Tiggie (or Tiggie and Hart) - I love how your lives just keep getting better and better after that first traumatic dislocation. What a wonderful new space you have. And I think that is a California redwood tree outside that big picture window....it will only get bigger and bigger and you might want to think twice about climbing up to the top of it in case you can't get back down again! Not that you are bad climbers, but those trees are gigantic and even the most well respected climbing cats would find them daunting. Just remember that, when you finally get to go outside and explore.
Congratulations on your wonderful new and LAST home!
Miss Kitty
